Two clumps of non-staining polypores found growing under and near dead hardwood in the central PA woods. Probable hen of the woods, but I’m usually not that lucky.

A place to get genus/species identification from pictures of fruiting bodies! It helps to include good quality pictures of the mushroom in its native environment, the location you found them, photos of both the top and underside. It is also useful to know what the mushroom was growing on - wood, dung or on the ground? Nearby trees are also helpful to know. The more information you provide the more confident our IDs will be!
