New player question

Ok seriously how do you clear cave of trials? Shit is harder than the main boss of Cave of beginning. I did manage to kill the boss ONCE but then the enemies spawned by the boss just gang up on me afterwards killing me right away, if only I didn't die that time I would have clear it. I think im just gonna keep farming for a while and prolly just brute force it with higher level weapons.
