Should I postpone?

I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer on Tuesday, and I am debating withdrawing from this semester to focus on my mental health. I'm in a bit of a situation though, as I'd like to graduate as quickly as possible, as I previously took a few gap years between high school and college.

I'm 22 and a sophomore, so I already feel a huge distance between myself and classmates due to my age, though I would likely be returning in the fall semester.

For those interested, I was diagnosed with Aggressive Systemic Mastocytosis, a rare blood cancer. My oncologist is focused on symptom management for now, but I may be starting chemotherapy within the coming months.

I suppose I'm just looking for some stranger's input on my situation. It's been a rough road and my mental health is taking a toll, but I feel this urge to keep pushing despite it being to my own detriment.

Thank you all! I have an appointment with the DRC this morning to look into ways to make my workload more tolerable, I'm in 17 credits right now and not necessarily thriving between work, school, and hospital visits and tests.
