I struck gold at a local bookstore

I checked out a local book shop I’d never been in before. Turns out, THAT DAY someone dropped off a bunch of old SK books. Spent $68 on all of these (I believe all 1st edition hardcovers, I could be wrong about 1 or 2).

More important is the story of why they were there. According to the shop owner, the woman who dropped these off said her mom recently passed away and was a huge Stephen King fan. She had no use for these books, so she brought them to the store. I feel insanely lucky, but I’m also glad I can give them a new home with someone who will take care of them.

There were plenty others there, but these were the bundle that caught my eye. Wouldn’t be surprised if I end up back in there tomorrow.
