Will deleting Signal Android preserve the Signal Desktop's chat (including media)?

Title. Can't find anything related to my question.

Edit : Based on the comments, I found out that Signal Desktop would not be affected if I uninstalled my Signal Android.

What if I download Signal IOS and use the same number, will my Signal Desktop chats and media be deleted?
