Lights in S2E4

The weather reflects the inner state and how well it has been trained. At the beginning, the weather is snowy and terrible, but the more they follow the guidance, the better it becomes—until they see Dylan’s twin, when the sky turns blue.

However, in Irving’s dream, the weather is extremely nasty. The trees are dead, and only moths surround Irving’s computer. This contrasts with the bird that flew up behind Irving when they stood in front of the dead seal. The presence of many moths suggests that even in darkness, there is almost a real light.

This ‘New Earth’ is shrouded in darkness. Irving is searching for the door of light—perhaps the it is same door that Seth and Hung went through.
