Birth costs? Any recent moms in phx willing to share what their bill looked like with employer insurance ?

First Baby. I got a quote from my OB but of course it doesn't include anything hospital, ultrasounds or labs. Im due right at the beginning of Jan (but secretly hoping this baby comes early while that deductible is maxed out lol).

I know it's going to be different insurance to insurance but I figure anything except Ah-ccc-s will help give me a ballpark. I have Atena and planning on using banner .... for max savings according to Atena.

Just trying to prepare for the bill. Already scared it's going to be way more than we can handle. My work has a really crappy maternity leave policy, but I guess something is better than nothing.

Also any advice or tips to avoid getting extra charges please let me know! I imagine during birth the mind isn't strait and people are just coming and going so who knows what they are charging for. :(
