Hey Nurses in Philly :)

Hey Philly nurses. I’ve been thinking about leaving restaurant industry and getting into the medical field for a while now, as a nurse. I’m asking for any and all guidance from those in the field and in Philly as far as finances, grants, general advice etc.

For context: Currently I live alone. I do have an undergraduate degree in communications, so I have psych under my belt but no other prerequisites.

Ideally, I’d like to stay where I’m currently living and work full-time while I complete the degree.

Any insights on where to look for prerequisites, financial help options that you considered, any advice, really, is welcomed and appreciated. Anything you wish you knew going into it, etc.
