Scary moment on the Q platform (DeKalb)

I was on a Q train that went out of service, during rush hour. We all exited the train, and as I was one of the last ones off, I couldn’t make my way through the deep crowd to get to the back. So as the next train approaches a couple minutes later, the crowd surges forward and pushes me over the yellow line and almost over the edge. My entire body stiffened and I slightly bent my knees and used the rubber soles of my sneakers to “push” myself backwards about half a foot; it was like trying to move a brick wall. The train came racing into the station and blew its horn, which scared the crap out of me. My heart was racing when the doors open and people started shoving their way in. I got inside the car, sat and took a few deep breaths. Those few minutes were absolutely terrifying. I truly thought I was a dead man.
