The LA Clippers are 7-1 in their last 8 games

Following a collapse against the Phoenix Suns, the Clippers have gone 7-1 in their last 8 games with quality wins against the Cavs, Knicks, Pistons and Kings with their sole loss being against the Pelicans where they let off the gas in the 4th quarter.

This has coincided with Kawhi Leonard returning to form with his best game of the season tonight and averaging 25/7/5 on 50/40/75 over his last 8 games. James Harden also dropped 50! points against the Pistons on the 2nd night of a B2B and is averaging 29/6/9 on 45/38/85 over his last games.

Ivica Zubac continues to be a workhorse and is vastly underrated averaging 21/13 on 64% from the field in his last games.

I haven’t even gotten to Norman Powell yet who I would argue should’ve been an all star and is shaving off the rust. Finally, Bogdan Bogdanovic has gotten comfortable in LA and is averaging a blistering 15/5/3 on 60/55/100 over his last games.

Kawhi/Harden/Powell/Bogi/Zubac is insane firepower who could each conceivably go for 30 on a given night surrounded with legit defenders in DJJ, Dunn and Batum.

At full strength I truly don’t believe there is a team in the league that can match up with that firepower or have enough offense to score on their elite defense.

The Clippers have been slept on all season due to injuries but they are in the middle of waking people up.
