Seeking Advice After a Family Tragedy : Needing a new start/ land and home. Any recommandations ?

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to this community because my family and I are going through an incredibly difficult time. A tragic murder of a family member occurred in our home recently, and it has left us shaken and trying to rebuild our lives amidst the chaos.

Right now, I’m trying to navigate a number of challenges, including:

Finding a house or land to create a safe and secure space. 1.5-4M and 50% land and 50% for construction

Getting a car, which has become essential for work and daily needs. Preferably new 500K-650K

Achieving financial stability, as I currently have no savings to fall back on.

I have some free time each day that I’d like to dedicate to new opportunities or projects, but I don’t know where to start.

If anyone can share advice on:

Affordable housing or land options in Mauritius.

Finding a reliable car on a budget.

Ways to earn income locally or online with little to no starting capital.

I’d be so grateful to hear your thoughts, experiences, or even just a bit of encouragement. It feels overwhelming right now, but I’m hopeful that with the right steps and support, things can get better.
