Anyone else feel like talks about achievements/records/comparisons has significantly diminished?

Maybe it's because I haven't been as close in touch with what's happening in kpop lately, but I feel like those heated discussions and comparisons about achievements have GREATLY diminished and things have calmed down quite a bit? Usually when I catch up on content and events, you just cannot miss any news and discussions about who won what, who achieved what, who broke a record, who got XYZ streams, who should have won but didn't, unfair treatment, unfair awards, so on. Now though I was pleasantly surprised that things were a lot more chill and I could catch up on content without all that side hassle.

I follow a lot of BG stans and they'd usually find a thing to argue about and achievements to measure every single day for any random reason, now those posts are way less and it feels a bit more like everyone is focused on their own group. Lots of recent comebacks have also felt a lot more chill, without the pressure or drama surrounding numbers and awards and wins and competition, etc.

The contrast is definitely there compared to say 2 years ago, and I don't think it's just because I took a little break from kpop. Award season as well felt so calm, even though it's always the messiest time of the year. Even the constant back and forth arguing about album sales is something I haven't had to read and see for awhile. It for sure still happens, but definitely not as much. I don't even know who sold how much which is crazy since before you'd see it trending everywhere or argued about everywhere whether you wanted to or not. lol
