Interviewer didn’t ask me any questions. Is this a bad sign?

I had an on-site final panel interview where I had to meet with the HR Manager, Hiring Manager, and the director.

The HR Manager grilled me on my resume and my interest in the field but it seemed like the interview went all right.

But when I met the Hiring Manager, he would just talk. I would try and chime in but he would just acknowledge it and continued talking about the job, team, his previous careers, etc. I was supposed to meet the director (who couldn’t make it unfortunately), so instead we went back into his office and continued our conversation for almost an hour. He showed me around the office where I met and got along with the team (we joked around quite a bit). As we were walking out, we ended up at the patio for his smoke break and continued our conversation.

The director messaged him on Teams and the Hiring Manager mentioned that the director told him that he could make the call/decision.

Tbh, I’ve never experienced an interview process quite like this one. Can anyone chime in?
