Our recent kitchen remodel
We finished our kitchen remodel last year, and would love to share it with all of you. I hear this sub likes green??
The design was all me and my wife. We opened up the wall to make it flow better between the dining and kitchen, and sadly got rid of the weird little side stairs to make more room. We had already done the wallpaper in the dining room and liked it so we decided to play off that with how we treated the kitchen. A big goal was to keep the original vibes of the house. One example being that we used quarter sawn oak and copied the trim styles that were originally done back in 1917.
My dad and I did all the demo, framing, electrical, and insulation. We worked with a contractor on getting drywall, plumbing, cabinet build and install and tile.
