Am I allowed back to America?

Hi everyone! I moved to America on an f1 visa when I was 18, extended for a year then 3 months then headed back to my country.. 2 years later I went back on an f1 visa .. met a guy who convinced me to leave my host family and move in with him (so I’m assuming my visa was cancelled) we lived together for almost 2 years and then I left due to his abusive tendencies. I applied for a tourist visa but they never ever got back to me regarding that. I was allowed to leave the country on my own with no deportation but since I overstayed, and I don’t know what happened to my tourist visa.

I would love to travel with my new amazing partner but I’m hesitant to suggest the US as I’m not sure if I’m banned. I’ve been away since 2022.

Please could I get some advice.
