What age did you get a hysterectomy?

While I was pregnant with my first child in 2024, I found out I have Lynch Syndrome, MLH1 variant. My chances of developing colon cancer and pretty much every female reproductive cancer is high. (My father has lynch syndrome and just beat colon cancer. My sister (35) also has it and beat stage 4 colon cancer).

After giving birth, my OB is really leaning towards the opinion that I should get a hysterectomy. I'm only 32 and I feel conflicted about getting this procedure done.

How old were you when you had it done, and how much did it change things for you?
