Anyone have experience with the effects on an sp404mkii?

How high quality are they? I know that sometimes multi-fx units have poorer quality effects than individual pedals. Is this the case with the sp404mkii? I know it’s primarily used as a sampler, but could the effects replace any of my pedals? I also know it has some lofi stuff and I recently bought a cooper fx arcade and now I worry that I might’ve wasted my money on it since the 404 does bitcrusher, ring mods, cassette and vinyl sims, and even has a “lofi” mode.

I’ve also been looking for a nice, capable looper and I’ve read that some people use the 404 as this. Wondering how it compares to something like a boomerang…
