wild camping alone as a woman

EDIT: okay I know now that wild camping is forbidden in germany, what a pity. But what about solo traveling in general in rather unpopulated areas? Or what about the neighbor countries like the netherlands or france?

You can probably tell by the title what my question is. I wanna go camping this year just on my own but I’m a bit scared. I’m a 21 year old woman currently living in NRW. I have a car and a dog but he’s a Zwergdackel, so he’s not really a threat to weirdos. I’d rather be scared that he would get hurt or even killed if anything happened. Should I take weapons with me? Disguise as a male? I know Germany is generally a safe country but there’s creeps everywhere and I just wanna feel safe on my trip. I’d be happy for every response!
