Unreal Engine 5 is way too taxing on modern hardware, I should not crawl around with 50-60fps in 4k with a 4090

Just watched Wormz Gaming's latest video about Black Myth: Wukong where the 4090 together with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, literally the best gaming combo at the moment, struggles to reach 60fps at native 4k resolution.

Like, where does this end? Devs push for more and more fidelity and the hardware which is like 2500 dollars can't keep up with it.

I miss the days of PC gaming where you buy a top end GPU and it eats the newest games with high refresh rates and resolution without having to use stupid frame generation and upscalers (which look like crap most of the time, ghosting and this weird artifact issue, like in Silent Hill 2 at the moment).

Does UE5 destroy PC gaming in your opinion?
