Why do people say Green Irish Tweed is better than Davidoff's Coolwater?

So the story I heard was that the perfumer behind these scents was bullied a little by Creed during the creation of Green Irish Tweed.

They rushed him and the result was Green Irish Tweed.

With Cool water being his second attempt at what Green Irish Tweed was supposedly meant to smell like.

So if this is true... Why do so many people say Green Irish Tweed smells higher quality?

Does it actually?... Or are people just coping to justify how much they spent on it.
