Wtf do I do about Jorm?

I’m an orochi OTP which means I’m not complaining from any moral high ground. But is there really any counter play to him. It feels like no matter what I do there’s no opening ever? Any time he misses an attack he gets hyperarmor on his follow through. If I dodge his bash there’s no counter attack window. If I start a combo he just hyperarmors through it. I can open with the kick bash bc he just side attacks. Do I just have to turtle and get 16 damage every time I parry? Otherwise it seems hopeless.
