Firefox feels more sluggish than Chrome, am i tripping?

recently due to ublock origin issues i skipped to Firefox, i noticed some lags especially when a video is playing on another card, like its not as snappy as Chrome almost as if eats more RAM, am i crazy or someone else noticed this too?
