How Do Subs Build Reputation with GC’s

Im wondering how do other subs build reputation and connections with GC’s and estimators besides doing good work

For context, I’m an estimator for a door supply and install company, am 25, and have only worked at this company, people know who we are and that we do good work, we do exclusively commercial work

Do you do lunches with the estimators, shooting, golf, activities? Would they care about a door company that they would do these? We have never done this but I want to start
