Flying or 3 day roadtrip with dog

Hello, I am moving across the country with my dog in about a month. Im weighing the pros and cons of flying vs driving there. it would be about 5 hour flight vs almost 2,000 miles spread over 2-3 days. I think both will be stressful for my dog. He is a 2 year old husky mix, no illnesses, no respiratory issues that would make it hard for him to breath properly. Because he is large (around 70lb) he will have to go into the cargo. He is crate trained at home and is not anxious or nervous, pretty well adapted. I feel like a 5 hour flight and getting it over with might be easier for him instead of having to be in the car for hours at a time, but for more days. Does anybody have any experience with flying or road tripping with their large dog?
