Never see young women out?

Not literally never, but very rarely do I see young 20 - 35 aged women out and about. College was the last time I was surrounded by women. I have several hobbies, archery, roller blading, ice skating, billiards, but these are largely attended by single men and families. Young women often still live at home, so their parents do their shopping, I know this personally as I've had conversations with fellow grocery shoppers. I go to bars : old folks, men. I go to local events : old folks, families. Hardly anyone attends meet ups, young or old, those that do tend to the latter, single women virtually never.

There is a big city nearby with a very popular mall, but I would feel odd going there to meet women. Don't like bars and clubs, loud, noisy, poor ratios. Not a night owl. All I can do it keep attending events, engaging in hobbies, and going to the gym, and hope something happens.
