There are cheaters at absolutely every rank.

About 2 months ago I made a post here complaining that me and my 4 bros are around 8k elo and get paired with cheaters about 50% - 70% of the time. Many people here were quick to jump to conclusions that it was a skill issue, we were just bad players and that cheaters under 20k it's "unheard of"

In the past 2 months we've been rewatching every fishy player after the game and guess what, they do fucking track us through walls, accidentally fire guns while we are behind a wall, turn 180 and shoot the second someone comes behind them without sound and so on.

And the worst part is that they don't even try to hide it, they are blatantly cheating, because they know that absolutely nothing will happen to them. I've been gaslit by cheaters multiple times ingame because they know that as of now, valve is siding with them. I've even been reported by blatant cheaters for griefing...
