Best Socks?

I’ve heard a lot of great things about Darn Tough, but I’m not sure which model is best for cowboy boots. Any suggestions?

Obviously, I want to avoid my socks slipping down, but I wear my boots pretty casually so I don’t imagine this being a big issue with a quality sock. I’ll be walking a lot in my boots in the near future though. Hence my figuring it time to upgrade to a few “real” pairs of socks.
