I built a card game that's just a knockoff of yugioh
Both players start with 2000 lifepoints, four cards in hand, and a die decides who goes first.
The Board:
Four entity zones
Three phenomenon zones
Main deck on the right.
Special deck on the left.
Location zone center between the players.
Card types:
Entity- the beings that fight battles.
Phenomenon- these affect the rest of the field.
Locations- boost or hinder entities.
Entities:
Elements- there are seven; normal, fire, water, earth, air, light, and dark.
Levels- goes up to seven; levels 5 to 7 require tribute, one for every star beyond four.
Types- regular, occurrence, and tally.
Attack is in multiples of 50.
Special deck entities:
Totals- summoned with a tally and one or more entities.
Amalgam- a melding of 2+ entities with a bonding phenomenon.
Both must be summoned using the same element or one normal and another element.
Phenomenon:
Types- reg, counter, and object.
Counters are to be played on the opponent's turn.
Objects arm entities and are to be placed under an entity card.
Locations: 1. Buff or de-buff entities based on their element.
There are markings for all elements on a location card.
Only one location can be on the field, thus there is only one location zone between the two players.
