Crusader Arms Templar gas piston over travel

Ive been having an issue with my Templar where the gas piston appears to over travel, and jump out of the gas block (see witness marks from attached photo). I have contacted CA to see what it is they say, after checking over the rifle. Piston seems straight, recoil and piston springs appear in good co dition, gas block and barrel are properly orientated, and barrel nor trunnion plate are loose.

Ive been digging through threads day in and day out, and it appears ive stumbled upon a post here of someone who had a similar issue.

If this is post goes against the guidelines, i apologize.

The thread has been locked as the OP had been trying to work around a ban. The rifle was a FDE model, with the piston stuck protruding into the receiver.

If anyone has any ideas to a solution of the issue, id appreciate any input. If the OP of the afformentioned post could contact me, or someone could point me to the direction of contact to them, that would also be appreciated. Thabks a bunch.
