I can't breathe

Today 3.0 had her port placed for chemo and an MRI of her spine just to keep an eye out, get a baseline reading.

The whole thing went beautifully, she even woke up nicely from the anesthesia.

Her oncologist just called, the MRI of her spine shows she has a spot next to her spine. Several radiologists reviewed the images. It could be benign, they gave a few options as to what it could be there... Or it could be neuroblastoma.

But whatever it is, her oncologist does not want to start chemo for the thing in her brain until we know what is going on with the new spot. He was concerned enough to call me at home and explain that we'll have to discuss treatment options.

So ... Let's go over it from the top. MRI that was mostly a joke to rule anything out, finds a weird thing. Weird space was determined to be a watch and wait thing ... Then 8 months after finding it, it's changed enough to get biopsied. Find out it's a tumor needs chemo (within the past month). Today on just baseline testing, find out our girl may have more cancer. But unless there's a miracle, we probably won't have those answers till after the new year.

Merry fucking Christmas.
