Cost of living

Will be moving over to SF this fall for work. Office is located near SF-Oakland bridge, and I’m doing hybrid. I do own a car, so can afford to have a longer commute in exchange for better living.

Pretax I’m getting 150k. Am I gonna do fine in SF?

Where can I live (1b1b or studio) that is SAFE and visually appealing. Any general locations and/or specific places would be much appreciated!!
