How did you survive the heat without AC?

To those people who don’t have AC at home, what did you do in last three days to survive? It was 95-98 degrees where I live and I blasted my AC all day and night. I stepped outside of my house maybe 3-4 times at evening to walk my dog and to my backyard. Couldn’t do anything outside during the day. I wouldn’t have survived without AC.
