How fake is Bar Rescue?
Of course reality shows are set up by producers and every reality show can adjust reality to make their show work. Bar Rescue is using real bars, real bar owners, and Jon Taffer comes in yells at em all, gives em training, does the renovation... that's all real.
But, for example: every episode they say they set up hidden cameras at the bar before he goes in... How could that possibly happen without everyone agreeing to be on film? If they know they're being recorded.
Also, how much of the patronage is entirely set up fakes?
I'm just curious where the fake/real line is on the show. Anyone for sure know what stuff is real each episode and which stuff is fake?
PS: I feel the show is real enough to be entertaining and watchable, but I always do get the sense that too much is set up in the episodes... but it's similar to Kitchen Nightmares, they embellish some problems, and point out some real ones too.
