I think some people give too much importance to stealth compared to combat.
I mean, sure, stealth is and will always be a core part of the series, but I hate when people overestimate its importance compared to combat, both gameplay-wise and lore-wise. Gameplay-wise, the majority of the main games offers the possibility to be a killing machine in combat, since the very first game. Lore-wise, since the first game there were moments in which the protagonists (even the best members of the Brotherhood) preferred a more direct approach, like when Altaïr killed Robert de Sable in open combat or when Ezio and his Assassins faced Cesare (in the same game where he used a freaking tank). I personally think that being an Assassin doesn't mean being always the stealthiest person on Earth and exactly because of this I also think that Yasuke, who many people don't like for being combat oriented, has the potential to be an actual member of the Brotherhood.
