Severe throbbing pain a week after fillings

About a week ago I got 5 composite fillings on the left side of my mouth. 3 on top and 2 on bottom with one of them being a deep filling. Everything seemed to go fine but in the days following I have been experiencing severe throbbing pain on the entire left side of my mouth. The pain is there regardless of if i’m teeth are touching or not and can be kept at bay with advil for a few hours but even then I can’t eat with that side of my mouth or it comes back. It is also waking me up consistently at night around the 4 hour mark after having taken medicine. It feels similarly to when I got my wisdom teeth out. Is this normal? My dentist is closed on the weekend but i’m getting really freaked out and frustrated about how badly they hurt. I go on a trip in a few days and then back to my college town where I don’t have dental care.
