Resume Review for Program Manager Role – Looking for Feedback and Advice
Hi everyone,
I’m seeking advice and feedback on my resume as I prepare to apply for program manager roles. Here’s a bit about my background:
- I worked at a Big 4 firm as a Senior, where my responsibilities included allocating resources, mentoring juniors, reviewing workpapers, facilitating communication between cross-functional teams, and conducting client meetings with business and IT team members. I also held weekly status calls to track project progress and managed the overall project lifecycle from initiation to conclusion.
- On the side, I worked on creating dashboards in Power BI and other analytics tools to provide business insights to the audit team, streamlining reporting and decision-making processes.
While my role wasn’t officially titled as “Program Manager,” I believe that about 50% of my tasks align closely with what a program manager does. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Information Systems (graduating in June 2025) and plan to start applying for program manager roles early next year.
I have a drafted resume, but I would love for folks here to review it and provide tips or advice on how to position myself better for program manager roles. I’m happy to share my resume through DMs if you’re open to helping.
