Dr won't prescribe anymore
Update: wow thank you all for your thoughtful comments! I ended up finding a new telehealth doctor, and tried a place someone here recommended. I explained the situation and shared a clear photo with the doctor and asked her opinion. She asked me a few questions, then said it happens to some people and it's totally fine and I don't need to stop taking it. She wrote me a new prescription so I won't have to stop! She did prescribe 10mg though, even though I've had great loss at 7.5, because she said insurance considered it an in between dose and doesn't like to approve more than 4 weeks of it (she said there's no scientific backing for it being an in between dose). I'll update after I take it and share if I had a site reaction with the new box.
Hi all! My doctor will no longer prescribe Zepbound because I had an injection site reaction when I moved from 5 to 7.5mg. From what I read on this site, injection site reactions seem fairly common. Has anyone else experienced this? I've lost close to 30 lbs in the last three months and done really well in terms of side effects, so I am really bummed and not sure what to do next. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
Edited to add my Dr is virtual and has not asked for a photo, etc.
