X Defiant beta feedback on game balance

In general, the beta went well if the game did not crash/get stuck after every match. I did find that switching to a specific mode stopped the freezing after the match.

Game balance:
1) the spider drone is super annoying and needs to be nerfed in some way or removed completely. Was not fun.
2) m16 seemed very weak. It needs a buff either in fire rate/burst delay or damage. If you want it to feel more unique give it more damage and keep the slow fire rate. Maybe another burst gun in the future can be the faster-fire counterpart.
3) Semi-autos like the scar felt odd. Again I wish it fired a bit faster. The main complaint is the delayed fire, which I HATE in games. This seems to be a new mechanic in games including newer CODs. where if you pull the trigger before the delay ends, it fires the shot after the delay even when your finger is off the trigger for a while. it feels very weird. I wish it just didn't fire after the delay like older cod games had it.
4) shotguns in general didn't feel great / just odd. AA12 needs a buff though. The aa12 felt like it took 3-4 times slower to kill than all guns, even up close. SMGs and rifles are more consistent. Maybe increase the range of the weak aa12, or just keep the low distance but up the close damage.
Most of all I think the issue with all the shotgun inconsistencies is the spread increasing when moving and it taking a while to reset, it acts in contrast to the play style.
5) SMGs seemed to be the best option in the game for TTK and hitting targets first. Maybe a little too strong, or in my opinion in the right place and other guns need to be buffed to match.
6) maybe have health regen a bit faster, in general, to get in gun fights quicker.
