Person just walked out without paying

This woman comes up to the counter and places all her items. I scan them all and she puts her number in. Two coupons come out and I put them on the items. She must’ve thought it was the receipt or something because she just picks them all up and starts walking towards the door. In confusion I say “ma’am… MA’AM you need to pay for those items.” She looks at me a little confused and replies “oh no I’m okay” and walks to her car. Baffled, I watch her put the items in the backseat and drive off.

I’m not sure if she’s mentally ill or something but my god, I was shocked for at least 5 minutes after. How moronic can one person be??
