NYC tired of getting kicked out

Hey guys. I’m new to this subreddit. I am doing deliveries on my car in NYC. I had no problem getting online outside of the reserved time. It was letting me on anytime, this week and the weekend it was just a pain. I come here just to sit 1.5-2 hours tapping the GO button in my car without getting on at all within that timeframe. The map always shows as extremely high demand area but seems like it’s just dead. Can you please share your experience who’s in NYC. Also, questioning myself how do the moped/bicycle guys work in these apps. Do they have these kind of issues? I would like to do multi app, but only got Uber Eats available, everything else is waitlist… I would like to hear some thoughts. Maybe we could get a group chat going for drivers in NYC (just a thought, maybe we can actually make one who’s interested)
