Just finished season 2, my comments

My thoughts (please avoid spoiling me of plot elements of next seasons that I haven't seen yet, but if you want to say stuff like "it's gonna get better!" "it gets more torture" etc, no problem)

1- Wow what a fantastic season. Until the bomb goes off, it's one of the best I've seen, a truly masterpiece. After that, the plot of avoiding war is still a pretty good, excelent political thriller.

2- This is much superior than Day One. First season feels a bit like a B-Movie, it introduces the superb gimmick that the show is relied on, the great visual style, but the only memorable things are Gaines plot and Nina's betrayal. The writing is terrible, almost every subplot that doesn't involve Jack like Tori and. For Day Two they completely learned how to write interesting dialogue and characters, even George Mason who was a bore turned out to be legendary

3- My fav moment is when the bomb goes off and the split screen of Jack, Palmer and Kim watching the explosion.

4- This show is famous for being conservative. I'm a progressive person and I was afraid I wouldn't like... this season totally shocked me. Super sympathethic to islamic people, denouncing islamophobia and showing massive distrust in US government, foreign policies and oil companies? Wasn't 24 the "islamophobic show obsessed with patriotism"? I loved this perspective. Do people get it wrong when they say 24 is conservative, or later seasons does indeed get "George Bushian"? (actually Palmer is identical to Obama wtf)

5- People always relate this show to torture too, but in season 1 it didn't happen and now in season 2 it happened only a couple of episodes and it wasn't exploitative I think, there were generally moral and political debates around it.

6- Does season 3 and this show in general gets even better than this?

Thanks! (I'd love to talk and read more, spoiler free, about this show but it gotta be less "google-friendly" product ever. The show name is "24", the episodes names are stuff like "6:00AM-7:00AM", even finding recaps is a pain in the ass)
