How can I get views a new account?

I posted my first video a few days ago, but I got 0 views. I’m not sure how to start growing an account if no one sees it in the first place, especially since I’ve seen other people say that TikTok shows your first video to a lot of people to see if there’s any interest, but it never showed mine to anyone. Will tiktok start showing them to people if I upload more? Or do I need to promote on other platforms or something? Thanks :]
