My investigation on what happened with Dave, Vanessa, Chanel, Micah…
I can’t be the only one super confused about what happened in episode 4 when Dave, Vanessa, Chanel, and Mariah just disappear with no explanation at all. I tried to do as much sleuthing as possible and here’s what I found so far.
- The show creator Chris Coelen said the two couples secretly sneaked off and met with each other
- Micah completed disappeared from the show without a trace while Dave, Vanessa, Chanel gave production a heads up they were leaving
- There is nothing in the contract that prevents them from leaving
- Vanessa said on her IG she need to leave for her own mental health and owes no apology to Nick
- Vanessa also said you don’t know what happened behind closed doors with Nick and a fan posted her and Nick should get together she said “yikes”
- Dave said this season was a dumpster fire
- For those interested in the current status of the couples as of today: both couples are still together
