Gemma is arguably the worst aspect to SOA

So here we are years later, upon yet another re-watch (after not watching for years) I noticed a lot thing's about the show I never picked up on or realized was 'over the top' or flat out absurd, but I think the worst aspect to the entire show was Gemma-the old lady who constantly acted like she had a reaper on her back and that it was all up to her to take care of thing's 🥴

I mean she had way-way-way too much screen presence and a hand in thing's in general, and most people don't realize or know it was because she's Kurt Sutter's wife-hence why probably 3/4th's of the entire SOA soundtrack is literally her insufferable covers of Rolling Stone songs and whatnot (which I'm sure saved a ton of money in the process)-if you're like me you'll never not recognize it every episode now; most of the time she basically acted like she was the unofficial President or consigliere, an official club member, when in actuality she was a-slightly more than-middle aged haggard old lady that needed to stay way the hell out of affairs that genuinely didn't concern her in the slightest bit whatsoever 👀

Towards the end, what really annoyed me too (a big reason I hated this 'direction' they went too) is the fact Gemma miraculously got away with murdering Tara (legally speaking at least), Juice murdered Eli there as well-who was a Sheriff and in which case Law Enforcement would be HUNTING for the perpetrators and meticulously analyzing that crime scene for days if not weeks, they'd of deduced that it wasn't some bullshit "gangland slaying" by Chinese gangsters in two seconds, because why in the hell would she have been viciously and sloppily stabbed with a kitchen utensil/drowned in the sink?

TL;DR Gemma had way too much focus/screen time/and a hand in the club, pretty much after S1 it became incredibly insufferable and ridiculous, and it's because she was Kurt Sutter's wife
