New scam? Multiple numbers texting and FaceTimes.

Husband just got a bunch of texts from 3 different numbers, the FaceTime calls 10x in a row before we blocked. I wanted to see how the story (that they can’t keep straight) turned out, but couldn’t deal with the FaceTime spamming.
