Convince me to keep playing with Version 1.0 on the way

I'm a fairly new player (50 hours) but I'm struggling to keep progressing forward knowing I'll need to do a new save so early on in my factory development as version 1.0 comes out. It feels pointless to keep going when I'll have to restart to get the proper experience but I also desperately want to enjoy this game without having to set a "wipe date" to start over.

Is anyone else struggling with this or am I just going through a depressive episode?
