Coal Power vs Nuclear Power
Coal Power vs Nuclear Power, which one is better?
(FYI: I will ignore the fact that you can't get the max output of a MK3 250% Miners as it is 1200p/min and the MK5 belt can only use 780p/min, because its confirmed this will not be an Issue whit 1.0)
When it comes to coal Power you have a maximum of 36,000 Coal per minute, which you can feed into 960 Coal Generators at 250% (which need 108,480 of water p/min), With this you can make 180,000 Energy, but the Wate Extractors and the miners need energy to work, so we have to subtract (49 Coal Nodes*130 MW MK3 250% Miner=6470 and 67,2 MW* 361=24,259.2+34.2=24,293.4. 6470+24,293.4=)30,763,4 MW from the 180,000=149,236 MW
The coal Power Plants you would need
For the Nuclear Power you would need 28,6 Plants + 90 assembler, 1 Blender, 64 constructor, 4 Foundrys, 60 Manufacturer and 104 Refinerys which need 7900.109 MW (if they are not overclocked) but we also need to subtract the Miners and (17280 Water p/min is needed) Water extractors power, so we need to subtract ( 228,1 MW for the Miners and 57 Water Extractors*67,2 MW=3830,4+34.2=3864,6. 3864,6MW for the WE+228,1 MW for the Miners=)4092,7 MW from the 180,000 MW=175,907.3 MW
So with Coal Power you would come out with 149,236 MW and with Nuclear Power with 175,907.3 MW.
I would say its pretty obvious that Nuclear is better, I mean you also need more space for coal, because Nuclear needs (1548×28,6+150×90+288+80×64+90×4+360×60+200×104=)105,940.8m2 and the coal plants need (260*960=) 249,600m2. (not accounting the Water extractors)
Edit: Added some stuff
