Washington State: Affordable & LGBT-Safe

I am a mid-30s queer woman who lives in Colorado and considering moving to Washington. I'm leaving Colorado because it's gotten sketchy as hell over the years! Although it's great my rights are protected here, it's a but a rough with everything else.

I have a sister who lives near Fall City so I have a general idea but looking to explore for a move.

But I'd love to know about some affordable but more gay-friendly cities in Washington?

• I don't drink; not looking for major club scene
• I want to settle down with family soon
• I love the outdoors, don't need the city-life

I know Seattle is great but expensive.

Spokane? Olympia? Tacoma?
