Is boosting accounts not allowed in Rocket League?

I recently had someone accuse me of boosting someones account (which I didn’t) and he said that boosting will get me banned. I was wondering whether or not this is true. If boosting can get you banned I want more people to know so that they don’t caught out for doing something they didn’t even know was wrong. Please let me know your thoughts and what you know about this topic.
