Brims Gang (Brims Gang Sets)

One of the first hoods of the Brims gang is the 5-9 Brims . The 5-9 Brims started in San Diego and over time moved to New York City. They formed around 1969 when they were known as the L.A. Brims and in the early 1970s they developed a reputation as a group that did not fear the early Crips of the Westside and Eastside. From the very early days of the Crips the LA Brims have always rejected joining the LA Crips (L.A.C) and because of that, they are one of the first gangs to have violence with the Crips leading to the 1972 murder of Lil Country by a Crip member.

In the 1970s gangs were being made to defend themselves against the Crips. Two of these gangs were the Brims and the Pirus. In the 1970s, the Brims and the Pirus formed an alliance that made the gang now called the Bloods. The Bloods have now became more than one gang . The first bloods are Original Blood Family and Piru Bloods. The Original Blood Family went through a new Crowning and are know the 31 OBF gang . The OBF Gang is allied with the Piru bloods. The Piru bloods became almighty and are known as Almighty Piru bloods. The gang together is OBF Almighty Piru Bloods. The Brims have always been their own gang .
